Product Introduction

Hummingbird Shared Mobility Management and Operations Platform (District Edition/Scenic Area Edition) is a lightweight management and operations product built for shared mobility in scenic areas, tourist areas, resorts, universities, university towns, industrial parks, communities, townships, and other small- to medium-sized areas with relatively fixed boundaries.

During the implementation of the product Hummingbird Shared Electric Vehicle Management and Operations Platform, because it is designed for city-level and large or mega-scale service scenarios and supports shared mobility services for tens of thousands of vehicles, it requires relatively high initial cloud resources, high system implementation costs, and high O&M costs. This often makes shared mobility operations in small- and medium-sized districts financially overloaded.

We clearly recognize that in the shared mobility sector, not all needs require large-scale, high-cost, full-region platform support. To meet small- and medium-scale mobility scenarios, we have built a small-area shared mobility management platform centered on “low threshold, low cost, and high adaptability.” It focuses on micro and small service scenarios and targets an operating scale of up to 100 vehicles, completely addressing the pain points of traditional shared mobility systems—“high investment, high operations, and high barriers”—and making the implementation of regional shared mobility simpler, more economical, and more efficient.

Hummingbird Shared Mobility Management and Operations Platform (District Edition/Scenic Area Edition) focuses on the unified management and efficient operation of shared mobility for various transportation tools in a district, including two-wheelers, three-wheelers, four-wheelers, and tour boats. It is suitable for micro and small service scenarios such as scenic areas, industrial parks, universities, communities, and small towns. Centered on “low-cost deployment, low-cost operation, and low-cost maintenance,” it provides a lightweight, highly adaptable, and easy-to-use shared mobility solution. Without high investment, users can quickly build a standardized shared mobility service system. It uses the lowest-specification cloud service resources to achieve the most core operational loop and the most convenient shared services. Users can travel by scanning a QR code, and operators can start operating as soon as they go live.

The platform deeply matches the operational characteristics of various districts, abandons the advanced functions of large platforms, and retains only the core modules of shared mobility management. Through lightweight architecture design and cloud service deployment, it achieves “ready to use and scalable on demand,” effectively solving the pain points faced by small districts in shared mobility services, such as low management efficiency, high resource waste, and poor service experience. It helps districts improve service quality, expand revenue channels, and reduce management pressure.

If you have large-scale or mega-scale shared mobility needs, you can choose the Hummingbird Shared Electric Vehicle Management and Operations Platform.

Product Advantages

1. Low Cost

The core competitiveness of this system lies in “full-chain low cost.” From system deployment to daily operations, every aspect is optimized for small- and medium-scale scenarios to minimize investment costs and make profitability easier.

1.1 Low system cost: extremely low system cost, no high investment required

The entire system is based on streamlined secondary development of the Hummingbird Shared Electric Vehicle Management and Operations Platform. It retains the platform’s core functions and introduces architectural innovation. On the basis of meeting the functions required for small- and medium-scale shared mobility operations, it significantly reduces the cost of ownership. The system fee is only 1/10 of the original platform.

1.2 Low cloud service cost: lightweight architecture, reduced resource consumption

In response to the operating scale of small- and medium-sized districts, the original system’s microservice architecture has been substantially adjusted and converted to a monolithic architecture. Only a single 4-core 8 GB server is needed for smooth operation. Compared with the original system, cloud service costs are reduced by more than 90%. There is no longer a need to bear the cloud service overhead of a large-scale platform, controlling costs from the source and avoiding resource waste. If resource requirements expand later, elastic cloud service scaling can also meet the need.

1.3 Low operating cost: simplified management, reduced labor input

The system includes a built-in lightweight operations management module that supports core functions such as vehicle dispatch, order management, user management, and data statistics. It is simple to operate and easy to learn. No professional operations team is required; 1–2 people can complete daily operations management. At the same time, processes such as vehicle O&M and order settlement are optimized to reduce manual intervention and further lower labor and time costs during operations, making operations more efficient and worry-free.

2. Inheritance from a Large-Scale System

It is deeply streamlined and optimized from a mature and stable large-scale shared mobility platform. It inherits the original system’s mature business logic, stable dispatch capabilities, and secure and reliable technical architecture, while being lightweight-reconstructed for micro and small service scenarios, combining maturity with cost-effectiveness.

2.1 Mature and reliable technology, lower risk

It continues the market-validated core architecture of a large-scale system, with guaranteed stability, security, and concurrency capability, avoiding unknown issues caused by development from scratch. Going live is more stable, and O&M is more worry-free.

2.2 Precisely streamlined functions, no redundancy

Complex modules of large platforms for city-level and large-scale operations are removed. Only core capabilities such as district micro-circulation, vehicle management, order dispatch, and billing settlement are retained, making the interface cleaner and operations lighter.

2.3 Significantly lower deployment and usage costs

The lightweight architecture significantly reduces server, cloud resource, and bandwidth consumption. System licensing fees, cloud service costs, and later maintenance costs are all reduced, making it more suitable for small- and medium-sized operators.

2.4 Faster response and lighter experience

Dispatch logic is optimized for the characteristics of small-area, high-density, short-distance travel. The system runs more smoothly, starts faster, and has lower hardware requirements, so even older devices can run it smoothly.

2.5 Lower operational threshold, easier to implement

Complex operating rules and heavy management modules are removed. One to two people can complete daily O&M without a professional team. Scenic areas, parks, campuses, communities, and townships can quickly and independently launch operations.

2.6 Scalable, upgradable, and highly compatible

The streamlined edition retains the original system’s extension interfaces. If there is a future need to expand scale, add vehicles, or connect hardware devices, it can be upgraded smoothly without replacing the entire system.

Product Functions

The system is streamlined based on the Hummingbird Shared Electric Vehicle Management and Operations Platform, cutting advanced functions and focusing on the core needs of small-area shared mobility. Its functions are precisely adapted and simple to operate, balancing user experience and operational efficiency. No complex operations are required, and users can get started quickly.

Cooperation Models

1. System Buyout License

The partner purchases the independent software usage rights of the District Edition platform in a one-time buyout, covering the core functions of the user portal, operations portal, and O&M portal. We complete localized deployment, commissioning and launch, and basic personnel operation training. Subsequent system iterations and custom development are value-added services. The partner independently controls servers, operational data, and management permissions, and fully and independently carries out daily district operations and maintenance.

2. Technology-Enabled Joint Operation Cooperation

The district purchases and deploys mobility vehicles itself, builds its own cloud servers, and establishes a local operations team responsible for daily O&M. We provide ultra-low-threshold platform authorization to enable all functional ports, and provide technical Q&A, system fault repair, and routine function optimization services throughout the process. A fixed percentage of order transaction revenue generated by operations is shared, with no additional high service fees, greatly reducing the early-stage investment cost of digital transformation in the district.

3. BOT Cooperation Model

The district is responsible for providing parking space free of charge, compliant operating qualifications, and local basic implementation management support. We invest fully in shared vehicles, the full management platform software, dedicated cloud servers, and network computing resources. During the cooperation period, both parties share operating revenue according to an agreed ratio, with no hardware or system costs required from the district throughout the process. At the end of the cooperation period, asset transfer, contract renewal, or platform upgrade and transformation can be negotiated, achieving asset-light implementation.

4. SaaS Lightweight Annual Subscription Model

Using standardized cloud-based online services, district partners pay an annual subscription fee to enable all platform management and supervision functions. There is no need to build servers or purchase the system in one lump sum. It supports multi-role hierarchical accounts, real-time data synchronization, and remote supervision. We are fully responsible for system O&M, security protection, version iteration, and technical support, and can flexibly add functions as needed, greatly lowering the implementation threshold for small- and medium-sized districts.

5. Asset Installment Leasing Cooperation Model

Partners do not need a large one-time investment. Smart vehicles, platform systems, cloud resources, and smart hardware are all provided through installment leasing cooperation. We are responsible for software and hardware deployment and commissioning, daily fault maintenance, and free system upgrades and optimization. Partners pay rent monthly or quarterly and enjoy dedicated technical support throughout. After the lease term ends, they can acquire all software and hardware assets at a low price, flexibly easing early-stage cash flow pressure in the district.

FAQ

Q1: Can one platform manage two-wheelers, four-wheelers, and tour boats at the same time?

A: Yes. The District Edition puts two-wheelers, three-wheelers, four-wheelers, and tour boats in the district into the same system for management. Vehicle records, billing, dispatch, and O&M are a unified set, so operators do not need to open a separate backend for each vehicle type.

Q2: What can be done to regulate users who park randomly?

A: This mainly relies on return verification. The system first determines the parking location and allows the lock to engage only when the vehicle is parked in a compliant area; if the location is incorrect, a photo must be uploaded before returning the vehicle. No-parking area geofences can be drawn in advance, and with SMS reminders, random parking will be significantly reduced.

Q3: If a vehicle is ridden outside the scenic area, can it be fenced in?

A: Yes. In the backend, service area geofences, station geofences, and no-parking area geofences can be drawn to confine the vehicle operating range, and they can be modified on the map at any time. With local geofence or road stud solutions, vehicles pushed out of the service area will be restricted, and if the return location is incorrect, the lock will not engage.

Q4: I don’t want a one-time buyout. Are there lighter cooperation options?

A: Yes. In addition to buyout licensing, SEEMSE (Jinzhang Technology) also provides technology-enabled joint operation, BOT, SaaS annual subscription, and asset installment leasing. If funds are tight, choose SaaS or installments; if you do not want to invest in hardware, choose BOT.

Q5: Do operators and on-site O&M staff use the same backend?

A: No, there are three portals. The Operations Management Portal is web-based, allowing operators to view data dashboards, vehicle monitoring, and report reconciliation; the Merchant O&M Portal is a WeChat Mini Program for staff to scan QR codes for battery swaps, vehicle relocation, and repair requests; the User Portal is also a Mini Program, which tourists can use immediately by scanning a QR code.
